In a whirlwind of action, President Donald Trump on Monday and Tuesday attacked women’s rights, affordable health care and environmental regulations.
On Wednesday, he’s planning to go after refugees from war-torn countries and immigrants from Mexico.
All of this reminds me of Pastor Martin Niemoller’s poem about the Nazis’ rise to power. Here is one version of it:
On Twitter, I decided Tuesday night to take a whack at summing up what had already happened in just a few days in the era of this absolute loser of a president.
So far they have come for:
Federal workers' jobs
Free speech at U.S. agencies
And refugees tomorrow

That set off a chain reaction of comments from people who pointed out I had — alas — missed some pretty major actions.
Don't forget the "in process" list

Pro-choice funding of women's healthcare

And — in an optimistic (?) tweet:
@YaelTAbouhalkah He should be able to resign after week 2 because he will have accomplished everything he set out to accomplish.

Much more to come, I’m sure.
Stay tuned for Day 6, Jan. 25, 2017.
